Prime Time with The Ordinary High-Adherence Silicone Primer

I’m not sure why silicones on makeup always have this negative connotation to it. I, for one, associate silicones with boob jobs. But hey, I have sort of a perverted mind so… let’s not get off-topic and let’s keep that between us, okay?

My main issue today, though, is not with silicones or boob jobs but with face primers in general and how I think they’re nothing but a bunch of gimmicky shit that brands use to earn more money from unknowing consumers. Continue reading

A Look Back at the Ever-So-Fancy Le Blush Crème de Chanel

I don’t know about you but there’s just something about Chanel products that makes them so fucking luxurious and grand, you just want to lust all over (and maybe lick) their expensive asses.

Despite the sumptuous feel and look of every single Chanel product that I have seen, I only have two items in my stash because fuck those goddamn expensive price tags. Continue reading

A Look Back at the MAC x The Simpsons Sideshow You Blush

I was browsing my old blog (because sometimes I just do that for no reason at all) when I stumbled upon this post from back in 2014—a review of the MAC x The Simpsons limited edition blush.

I can’t believe it’s been more than 3 years since I got this product and I actually am still using it up to this date. In fact, it still looks brand new and undented (except for the front part where there are a few scratches) and I don’t know how this is even possible but the engraved Margie Simpson is still there, perfectly visible. Beauty Review: ColourPop No Filter Concealer

I think it was back in April when I decided to quit (at least temporarily) wearing foundation. It’s not that I no longer needed the coverage because trust me, I do. It’s just that, well, let’s be real and honest here: I’m just your basic lazy-ass bitch.

It actually wasn’t just foundation. Back in 2015, I realized that doing a full face of makeup every single fucking day is just tedious and quite frankly, pointless. I still want to look presentable and still want to be able to admire the “work of art” (not a very good makeup artist so those quotation marks are a must) that is mah well-done face (parang steak lang) when I look in the mirror. L.A. Girl HD Pro Conceal — Review of A Cult Favorite

Y’all know that it was not too long ago that I fell in love with concealers. So before emptying my third tube of the Maybelline Better Skin Concealer, I decided to already scour the internet for other drugstore concealers that I could try next.

Then I remembered this cult favorite: LA Girl HD Pro Conceal that’s often compared to and referred as a dupe for the MAC ProLongwear HD Concealer. I remember having this years ago, long before it was even in the radars of many makeup enthusiasts and addicts in the world. But I also remember never actually using it because like I already mentioned in my review of the Maybelline product, I was never into concealers and I just had them for the sake of having them.  Continue reading
